TIPS & TRICKS
- The best soil conditions will be a day or two after rain, when the ground is moist but not wet. Wet soil cannot be cultivated or tilled properly, and will dry in clumps.
- Before you begin work, prepare the area by removing stones, rocks, root outcroppings, or any item that may cause damage to the tines on your Garden Weasel Double-Sided Garden Cultivator/Tiller. Break up soil clumps to make the ground more accessible for planting.
- This hand-held tiller is a durable soil raking tool to ready beds and containers for seeding. Use this tool to aerate and prepare areas for planting, reseeding grass, or for working in compost.
- Move the tines back and forth in the soil to create an even 1.5” depth. This cultivated area will be suitable for capturing and holding onto moisture to promote growth for new seeds.
